Flask
Woodfired ceramic flask. Fired to 2400 degrees. The ash in the kiln reacts with the glaze to create these wonderful surfaces.
Stoneware Jar
Stoneware clay is thrown on the wheel to create a jar form. fired in a wood-fueled kiln. The surface is created from the wood ash reacting with the glaze to create the drips and runs, swirls, and crusty texture on the vase.
