The Driveway Soda Kiln pushes the idea that you don’t need expensive equipment to create artwork at home. The art world is made by gate keepers, I push to fight the notion and want to share the experience of firing kilns wit anyone that’s interested!

The kiln is constructed with an up-cycled updraft gas kiln, and one ring from an electric kiln of the same size to get more height. The bricks were traded from local artist Jim Kaspar for a wood fired vase.
